Old friends.
New chair.
Charly cut hair at Manly & Sons for years before opening True Love. Half the clients followed. The other half are still finding it.
True Love opened on Venice Boulevard because Mar Vista didn't have a real barbershop with the right vibe — somewhere that felt like a hangout instead of a salon, but where the cuts were as good as anywhere on the West Side.
The room is small on purpose. Two chairs, good music on the speakers, a fridge with cold beer if you'd like one. Charly handles most cuts. Trevor handles the rest.
Walk-ins are welcome if there's an open chair. Otherwise, book online — Charly's chair fills up about 48 hours out, so plan ahead a little. Cuts run $50–60 depending on what you want, and we never push add-ons you didn't ask for.
